A workers’ comp investigation, also known as AOE/COE investigations, involves an insurance company’s efforts to ensure both a claim is legitimate, and the claimant is qualified to receive workers’ compensation benefits.
 
Many fraudulent workers’ compensation claims are filed annually, which in turn costs taxpayers money and causes insurance companies to utilize private investigators to conduct investigations into claims and behaviors of injured workers, both during the claim filing process and sometimes after settlements are received. This may include investigating claim details and observing the ongoing claimant behaviors. 
 
We provide this service with the objective of determining the veracity of a workers’ compensation claim and preventing the cost of paying out on fraudulent claims submitted to our clients. Following our investigation, we will provide our clients with an investigation report which may be used in determining whether to approve a claim or to continue providing workers’ compensation benefits.
